a bit about us:
The Rift started as a vision to create a safe place where people could connect, uplift each other, and share their love for horse games. Born during the pandemic, because people couldn't visit their IRL horses we began to host Red Dead Online (RDO) trail rides for PC players and quickly grew into a vibrant gaming community that now includes our Rift Redm equestrian sandbox server. The first of it's kind.
How We Started
The Rift emerged during the pandemic to unite horse lovers when they couldn't see their horses. What started as virtual trail rides on RDO quickly grew into a thriving, inclusive space for connection and adventure.
WHAT ARE TRAIL RIDES?
Trail rides are an in-game meet-up where we ride our virtual horses around the map and enjoy the view, company, and conversations! They are relaxing and meant to be a way to destress, though sometimes we do like to have a bit of chaotic fun!
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
The Rift Trails goes beyond trail rides and riding our pixel ponies for fun. We actually ride for a cause. Our charity events bring the community together to support meaningful causes we care deeply about including LGBTQIA+ advocacy, mental health awareness, and social justice initiatives like BLM.

Whether you’re racing barrels in a rodeo, running as a wild animal, participating in a hunter jumper competition, going cross country with your custom horse, competing in dressage, or attending drill team practice, the way you play is entirely up to you.

WHAT IS REDM?
RedM is a community-made framework tool that gives you the ability to create a custom RDO multiplayer server where you have control over settings you’d normally never have access to. This includes access to a lot of unseen game models and cosmetics, as well as every horse in the game - including the story-mode gang horses!
RedM is completely safe to use! The RedM client is entirely standalone and does not use or interact with the Red Dead Online servers and data.
