Keybinds & Commands

Keybinds and commands are all subject to change as our server evolves. 


This list only shows custom keybinds for mods and scripts. Please refer to your in-game options menu to change any default game keybinds. Custom menus will show a prompt for the key to open them. BACKSPACE or ESC will close most menus. 


If a command isn’t on this list please don’t use it without admin approval.

Important Commands/Essentials

F8 + type “quit”

Safest way to quit the game to prevent errors, shuts down RedM completely

F8 + type “disconnect”

Sends you back to the RedM Launcher menu.

Inventory = i

Double click on an item with your left mouse button to use it.

Chat Window = T

This is where you will apply commands and initiate chat. Use LOCAL chat to talk to people near you and GLOBAL to talk to the whole server.Press TAB to cycle between chat modes. 


/admin

Notifies an Admin in case you need their help. (/admin I need an admin!)

/report

Reports players for illegal server activity. Opens a form for reporting people and pings admins on the discord.

Voice Chat = N








Cycle Voice Range = ]

The default key for the in game voice chat is “N”, but you can change this to any key you want in the keymapping section of your RDR2 game settings

You can also just use voice activation instead of PTT in your audio settings. Just be sure to keep your mic sensitivity low and please use a headset so it doesn’t pick up your external speakers. 


You can cycle through the different voice ranges (Whisper, Normal & Shouting) 

Reload character = /rc 

Reloads player model in the event of an incomplete load. Also gets rid of items stuck in the hands.

Clear task = /c

Gets you unstuck from most animations.

Teleportation = /tpm

Mark a waypoint on the map and type the command to teleport there. You must be on foot/dismounted from your horse for this.

Revive = /doctor

Calls a NPC doctor when you are incapacitated to revive you.

/noclip

Gets you out of stuck situations by letting you pass through walls.

PVP = /pvp

Toggles pvp on/off. Only use consensually with other players!

/playernames

Turn off the names above everyone's head.

(RP) Chat Commands

 /whisper [Name/ID] or /w

Sends a private message to a chosen player. You can either use their name or their ID.

/r

Reply to your last received private message.

/ad

Sends out an advertisement for services, products & hangouts. Only use one ad for your marketplace post per restart. (/ad Hey! Come buy my shit!)

/me

Small pop-up that conveys personal actions. Also see /self below. (/me Searches you for weapons.)

/do

Allows other players to RP a response.[Character Name]: action (/do Do I find any weapons?)

/self

Similar to /me, this posts a message on your body. But this message stays until you delete it. Great to let others know when you are AFK.

/selfdel

Deletes the /self message.

/clear 

 Clears the chat window history.

Quick Emote/Animations

B

Short point. Also opens the menu for sitting/lying down on a bench/chair/bed.

/e

Emote menu. Does not work correctly while mounted.

/face

Facial animation menu.

/menugameplay > Actions

Sire menu animations for your character.

/c

Gets you unstuck from most animations.

/hu or X

Hands up!

/walk

Walk styles menu & clothes options

/walkslow

Slow down your walk by adding values 0.1 and up. Do /walkslow again to remove.

/piss

Does what you would expect. Only for male characters.

/pee

For female characters.

/rag or Shift + Up Arrow

Ragdoll your character. Type /rag again to get back up.

Ctrl + Z

Crawl on the ground. Press Z to get back up.

Horses, Pets & Wagons

/horse

Summons your sire stable horse. (Our main script)Tutorial can be found here

H

Summons your classic/old stable horse. For more information see our tutorial here.  (Also summons your sire horse when mounted & makes it follow you)

/h

Horse menu for things like tricks, temporarily removing & adding equipment, selling Sire horses & horse info.

/sidesaddle left (or right)

Lets you ride sidesaddle on your horse.

/sidesaddle

 Puts you back into a regular riding position.

/callpet

Calls your owned dog.

/fleepet

Flees your dog.

/pet

Opens menu to summon/dismiss pets from the shelter. (Anything that’s not a dog)

J

Summons your selected wagon. More info on wagons can be found here.

SireVLC RP Overhaul aka /menu

/menu

Main Menu, fastest way to click yourself through it.

/h

Horse menu for things like tricks, temporarily removing & adding equipment, selling Sire horses & horse info.

/menugameplay

Quicker access to: Wilderness Camp, Actions, Clothing, Weapons Options, Clear Props

/menubackpacks

Quicker access to backpacks & lanterns.

/menugentlemen

Formal outfits for male peds

/menudresses

Dresses for female peds

Ponchos for both male and female peds

Film/Photo Tools

/hideui

This gets rid of the main hud and chatbox for photography/photos. Repeat the command to get it back.

/togglechat

This gets rid of just the chatbox

/toggleoverhead

Toggles off speech bubbles above characters heads.

/cinematic

This gets rid of the main hud and adds the cinematic black bars at the top and bottom of the screen.

/freecam

Allows an outside-of-character camera view with different angles, zoom, filters, etc.

/attachcam

Attach/detach camera to your player ped in a specific place. 

/followcam

Follow behind player ped.

/lockcam

Lock/unlock the freecam.

(When in other modes, press V to return to normal freecam mode.)

(Note: /hud and /hud2 in the video are no longer used. Use /hideui instead.) 


/openphotomode

Opens sire’s photo mode. Good for character poses. Can also be found in /menu

Weather & Time

/weathersync

Syncs weather and time with the server’s current weather and time.

/myweather

Sets weather client-side (visible only to you). Example: /myweather sunny.


For snow on the ground: /myweather [ Choose available weather] 0 1.

/mytime

Sets time client-side (visible only to you). Use a 24-hour clock format. Example: /mytime 12.

Extreme snowstorm.

Clouds

Overcast skies.

Drizzle

Light rain.

Fog

Thick atmospheric fog.

Groundblizzard

Snow swirling near the ground.

Hail

Ice pellets falling.

Highpressure

Clear skies and high pressure.

Hurricane

Strong winds and rain.

Misty

Light fog with minimal visibility.

Overcast

Cloudy with no precipitation.

Overcastdark

Dark, heavy clouds.

Rain

Steady rainfall.

Sandstorm

Dust and sand in the air.

Shower

Intermittent rain showers.

Sleet

Freezing rain mixed with snow.

Snow

Standard snowfall.

Snowlight

Light snow falling.

Sunny

Clear and sunny weather.

Thunder

Storm with lightning and thunder.

Thunderstorm

Heavy rain with lightning and thunder.

Whiteout

Extremely reduced visibility due to heavy snow.

Utilities

/note 

For writing in the notepad that you can purchase at the store.

/clothing

Brings up a ped menu with more ped models than the normal pedmenu, but no animal animations. Also good for adding temporary clothing to your character ped. 

/coords

Shows you your location coordinates on-screen. Useful when reporting bugs

/instrument

Lets you play instruments using your own notes and music. (currently turned off)

/id

Shows Identification. Backspace to close.

/pedmenu

Brings up a menu to turn into animals and fly like a bird!Also has animations for dogs & cats.

/race

Opens the Race menu so you can set checkpoints to create a racing route that can be saved and loaded at any time. Does not work off-map.

/s

Brings up the Spooner tool. Type again to toggle off. 

/settings

Brings up a settings menu with all sorts of fun stuff, including invincibility, teleport, and super jump. 

/rcboat

Spawns remote control toy boat in the nearest body of water. Also despawns boat.

/vehicles

Allows you to spawn vehicles and static guns like cannons. 

/o

Brings up the Outfitter menu for setting up tents/camps. Must purchase from Cripps at Outfitter in Valentine.

Clothing

/clothing Brings up a ped menu with more ped models than the normal pedmenu, but no animal animations. Also useful for adding temporary clothing to your character.

/walk This command also opens a clothing menu if the specific commands below aren’t working.

Remove / Bring Back Pieces of Clothing

/hat

Adds or removes your hat.

/eyewear

Adds or removes glasses or other eyewear.

/mask

Adds or removes a mask.

/neckwear

Adds or removes neck accessories like scarves or ties.

/shirt

Adds or removes your shirt.

/suspender

Adds or removes suspenders.

/vest

Adds or removes a vest.

/coat

Adds or removes a coat.

/poncho

Adds or removes a poncho.

/cloak

Adds or removes a cloak.

/glove

Adds or removes gloves.

/rings

Adds or removes rings.

/bracelet

Adds or removes bracelets.

/belt

Adds or removes belts.

/buckle

Adds or removes belt buckles.

/pant

Adds or removes pants.

/skirt

Adds or removes skirts.

/chap

Adds or removes chaps.

/boots

Adds or removes boots.

/spurs

Adds or removes spurs.

Additional Clothing Commands

/ccoat

Closes and opens a coat. Works with some coats but not all.

/tuck

Tucks or untucks pants from boots.

/sleeves

Rolls up shirt sleeves.

/sleeves2

Rolls up shirt sleeves and opens the collar.

/undress

Removes all clothing.

/dress

Brings back your outfit. Reverses the effects of the above commands.
